Hello from The Petersons!!

Hi everyone! Every since we moved to Augusta, I have thought about starting a blog just so I could update everyone on all the things going on in our lives. We miss everyone but we do enjoy living here and here is where the job is right now so might as well make the best of it.

It is a new year. What will 2009 bring for us? No one knows but the best thing I am going to do is just live it one day at a time.

I just wanted to get this blog started and will do another post soon with pictures from our holiday but just to update quickly on what is going on with us:

John is loving his job at C4 Planning Solutions. He just finished a Cisco class at Augusta Tech and is studying to take the final certification test sometime this month. He is planning on going back to take other courses next semester.

Matthew is loving first grade and is so smart. I love listening to him read and watching him do math... he blows my mind how fast he can learn. He loves to play video games and has also started drawing a lot. He has a new puppy named Pillow and is enjoying playing outside with him.

I have really enjoyed the past year and a half being a stay at home mom. I think though it may be time to find a job... I'm mainly thinking part time but if the right full time job came along I wouldn't rule it out. For now though, I love making our new house a home. Of course that involves taking care of our 10 year old cat Lucky. Lucky is diabetic but he is doing very well. When we first moved down here I didn't think Lucky would be with us for long but he has come a long way and seems to be a very happy cat..... that is when the puppy is not bothering him. Yes, we have a new puppy that Matthew named Pillow (again). Pillow is a beagle he may have others mixed in but mainly looks like a beagle to me. He is a lot of work but I am sure he will become a great family addition.
